01. What is the main business of SAL Engineering?
We are an EPCM (Engineering Consultancy Services i.e. Engineering, Procurement & Inspection Services, Construction Supervision Services & Project Management) company engaged in designing and building facilities for the Oil & Gas industries.
02. What are the core business areas of SAL?
We undertake projects for the Oil & Gas industries, specialize in LPG storage terminals, bulk liquid storage terminals, LPG storage and image, and cryogenic terminals.
03. Can SAL provide us with prices of LPG / supply them?
Yes, we are engaged in plant design and construction, and also in LPG trading activity. We can provide information on LPG and supply them.
04. What is the procedure involved in SAL giving a quotation for a plant/project?
A quotation can be made once we completely assimilate your requirements. This process may take its due time as every inquiry passes through a systematic sequence of steps in our organization.
05. Can SAL arrange Technology for our project?
Yes, our Business Development and Sales Teams will guide you with regard to selection of the right technology, either out of our group portfolio or from other renowned process licensors.
06. Does SAL perform Basic Engineering activity?
Yes, for certain processes like Cryogenic Storage, Paints, Adhesives. For other projects, we perform Extended Basic, Detailed Engineering and Front End Engineering Design (FEED), using the Basic Engineering Packages from the selected licensor.
07. Can SAL arrange for us plant visits to earlier completed sites?
Yes. Generally, our Clients agree to our requests for plant visits. However, the necessary permissions will have to be obtained well in advance.
08. Can SAL provide assistance for statutory approvals?
SAL is responsible for all technical inputs and documentation required for government approvals and statutory approvals through its associates if specially requested by client.
09. Does SAL have any tie-ups or collaborations?
We do not have official tie-ups with any technology providers but we are in touch with many process licensors and can liaison with them. We can also independently handle projects for our Clients.
10. Does SAL provide only complete services for all discipline?
SAL has the capability and take up services right from concept to commissioning. However, we are flexible and take into consideration client's request for reduced scope.
11. What size of projects does SAL take up?
In our endeavor to serve the Chemical and allied industries, and clients' requirements, we take up grassroots (Greenfield) projects in addition to revamps, repairs and re-starts in EPCM mode. The typical size of projects for which we have been offering engineering services, can vary from US $ 2 million investments to US $ 100 million.
